As there are still many queries in the forum relating to Extension Manager and CC 2015 - we would like to draw your attention the following article which will go some way to explaining a bit of the background behind Extension Manager, it's EOL, and alternatives for CC 2015:

This is just to serve as a reminder that development on Extension Manager through CC2015 will cease and users who have upgraded to CC 2015 should avoid Extension Manager and install Add-ons and Adobe Apps via the Creative Cloud Desktop App.
