I am trying to install the Roland Cutstudio software that came with my Roland GS-24. I run Adobe Illustrator CS6 on a mac, and I cannot get the extension manager to accept the plug-in that adobe has. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

We try to install ZXP on Anastasiy's Extension Manager software.

I work in an IT department deploying various Adobe applications but I'm not deeply familiar with usage of Adobe products (just enough to check basic functionality and act on feedback from end users)..
I've created various Adobe CCP packages over the past few years but I haven't encountered this issue before.
A bundle I've recently created (which includes pretty much all of the current CC suite) includes amongst other items: Adobe Extension Manager CS6, Adobe Extension Manager CC and Adobe Fireworks CS6. They're running on Windows 7 Enterprise, SP1 (x64).
When launching Adobe Extension Manager CS6 (6.0.8.28) I get the following error on launch, which persists on subsequent launches:

Adobe Extension Manager CC doesn't throw any errors on launch but trying to open the same extensions using Adobe Extension Manager CC throws a different error:
his extension can not be installed, it requires Fireworks version 6
or greater.
I haven't been able to find anything about the same error but I've found some articles about similar situations that suggest this might have something to do with expired certificates for the extensions. I've checked the contents of signatures.xml within a few of the *.zxp files (…\META-INF\) and looked at the SignatureTimeStamp value (other articles suggested this should show a date in human readable text) but I can't decipher one. I might be barking up the wrong tree there anyway.
Does anybody have any suggestions on what's going wrong and ideas on how to fix it?

My CC extension should be installed into the /Applications folder.
Instead of this, a new Applications subfolder is being created inside the /Applications folder. extension is being installed into that new subfolder

Hi all,
Since I waited 45 minutes for Adobe support to tell me to post my question in a forum... I guess here I am.
I deleted one of my actions by mistake out of Photoshop. I have all the actions in my Adobe Exchange account. But when I went to uninstall, it gave me an error message that said "Access Token cannot be blank"
This happens to all of my presets, even the ones I deleted.
I clicked the "install issues" button only to be met with another error on that download button that said "unauthorized". This again happens with all my presets.
I'm in the middle of a huge project and need my presets back. Can anyone help me?

Can anyone help with letting me know of a way to import Roland Cut Studio into Adobe Illustrator CC (2015)? I was running Illustrator CC to use the extension, but the update removed all previous versions of Illustrator, to my chagrin.
Today I wanted to start writing an extension (for PhotoShop).
There is no subforum called "Extension development", so I'll ask my question here, I guess. If you know a better place to put it, please advise.
The HTML implementation is a breeze, and it's really convenient to work with.
H1, DIVs, BUTTONs, etc seem to work just fine.
However, I can't get my Checkbox (Element type INPUT, attribute TYPE="checkbox") to show up.
Everything else is fine, but it looks like the element is just not there.
I've tried wrapping it inside a FORM, I blindly tried creating a CHECKBOX element (maybe this is where the extension framework differs from HTML?) - but of course without luck.
I couldn't find anything about "Adobe Extensions Elements list" or anything :/
How do I display a checkbox?
And, more importantly, where can I find decent documentation about this kind of thing??

This morning I lost power to my computer while running Illustrator. Upon reboot, it entered safe mode. I closed this to open it regularly. Ever since then, my Roland CutStudio plug in is not appearing in Illustrator. It is in the Plug-Ins folder within in Illustrator CC 2019 folder where it was working fine previously. I have tried removing and replacing the extension and reinstalling it, but nothing seems to restore it to the extensions submenu.
I'd like to be able to include multiple versions of our InDesign plug-in in a single .zxp (e.g., one for InDesign CS6 and another for CC). Is that possible? I don't see how since the "version" attribute is on the root (<macromedia-extension>) element, but I I've seen some mention of this being possible, at least with Extensions?
Any help much appreciated.

I am trying to install my extension through command line by using command ' ExManCmd.exe /install "xyz.zxp" ' but I am getting error Failed to install, status = -413. What does this error code mean ?
I am trying to reproduce an animation according to an easy tutorial and this happened twice: I feel really discouraged.
Suddenly when saving my project -not so heavy - with 4 layers and duration 20s, animate adobe tells me an error suddenly happened and it cannot save my file.
Its size suddenly is reduced to 1Ko and I lose everything because there is no backups like in Corel Painter as .bak.
I have to start over everything from beginning
Have you an idea of what happens and how to put this right ?
I use MacBook Pro 2011 with 8 Go Ram and bicore 2,7 Ghz. Encountered some problem before with Corel Painter but this soft is very greedy and needs a lot of CPU time, which is different with Animate adobe. I had to uninstall Corel because of weird and very annoying problems.
So it looks pretty different with Animate adobe
I installed the add-in through the command line. After checking, it shows that the add-on has been installed.
Unfortunately, it does not appear in the program (window - extensions).
Why? What should I do?

I've got a code signing certificate (.pfx) from GlobalSign and tried to sign my extension package.
I used the ZXPSignCmd tool and got the following response:
Unable to build a valid certificate chain. Please make sure that all certificates are included in the certificate file.
The necessary certificate chain is installed on my system (Windows 7):
My code signing certificate,
the certificate from GlobalSign the signed my certificate
and the GlobalSign root certificate that signed it.
The OpenSSL info output for the certificate looks fine too:

I downloaded (purchased) fonts from Fonts.com and installed them on my computer. I see them and can use them in my InDesign and Illustrator but when I package the project to send to printer, it fails on the fonts and does not included the newly added fonts. I have uninstalled and re-installed the fonts. Now I discovered (on Fonts.com) the Adobe Extension and have downloaded the Extension Manager and the Fonts.com Extension, which fails with and "invalid signature" message. The Extension Manager is successful and recognizes my Adobe products, but will not load the extension for Fonts.com.
I am running CS6 InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator (not cloud versions) and have run the latest updates.

Extension Manager CS6 freezes when loading extensions
When launching Extension Manager CS6 it starts loading extensions but totally freezes when the last 30 percent of the loading extension bar is still unaccomplished. It is not possible to close the window, not even with the task manager. I have restart the computer to get rid of it.
My OS is Windows 7, 64 bit. The most recent versions of the entire Adobe CS family are installed, freshly updated, including the Extension Manager CS6.
To trace the cause of the problem I tried to create a log file in the folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Extension Manager CS6. I logged in as administrator and wrote in the Command Prompt Window:

The log file was created but contains nothing but "ECHO is on".
A possible cause of the problem might be that I have two installed active version of Ajatix Advanced CSS Drop Down Menu, which is an add-on to Dreamweaver. The first version is the free one, the second is the full paid version. I would like to deactivate the first one since which might make the Extension Manager happier. But the only way to deactivate it that I know of is to use the Extension Manager. Catch 22.
I have been trying to add an extension to Premiere Pro and After Effects. However, albeit being in my cloud, the Extension Manager doesn't pick up any of the apps in my cloud, or Adobe Exchange. All the videos I've found of the Extension Manager don't cover this issue, and I have tried deleting ExMan.db and reinstalling both on and off of the cloud, as I have seen some users have succeeded with those fixes. The only thing inside the manager is an "Other" product.
At this point, I'm simply confused. Everything is up to date, identifies on the cloud, and only the Extension Manager isn't identifying other apps. Is there a way for me to manually add or get the manager to identify the clouds apps?
